Splinters.

Small easy to remove splinters:
1. Make sure the scene is safe.
2.Get the first aid kit.
3.Wash your hands.
If the splinter can be easily grasped with tweezers or your fingers remove it.
Clean the area afterward with an antiseptic solution.

Deep embedded splinters:
Attempting to dig it out may cause a lot of unnecessary pain.
Leave it alone and take the child to a physician.
It should be removed under sterile conditions.
